Originally from the estate of the Late Ian Thomas who was the Queens dressmaker for over 30 years. He contributed to the Queens gown worn for her Coronation in 1953 and also made the dress that the Queen wore for Prince Charles and Lady Diana's wedding in 1981.

He also designed outfits for the Queen Mother and Princess Margaret.

The Queen was so fond of Mr Thomas that she also gave him a horse and one of her Corgi dogs, although he later returned the pet because they did not get on.
